Distance Learning or 3 Day Instructor Led Course
The level 3 award in education and training is an introduction to teaching that will give you an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback.
The course is complete over just 3 days in the classroom. If this doesn’t suit then we have a distance learning option which allows you to study at your own pace, in your own time, whilst being fully supported by your tutor. Our pack walks you through everything step by step and with no word counts on the assignments this course really is for everyone.

This level 3 Award in education and training is and accredited qualification on the QCF framework, and regulated by Ofqual. It is suited to individuals who wish to teach in the further education and skills sector. It is a great foundation for those with little or no previous experience in teaching or training. It also provides those with previous experience the opportunity to gain a formal accredited qualification expanding your career prospects.
This course is a direct replacement for the old PTLLS (Petals) course.
I had never taught any subject before so was a little nervous attending this course. Hazel put me at ease straight away and I have learnt so much. The feedback throughout the course built my confidence and I am looking forward to delivering my own sessions in the classroom.
